A Walk Around UNO Campus

I got a new camera for Christmas, so I've been taking some test pictures to get used to it. These are from Monday, when it was bright and sunny. They look so much better than the gloomy view from the window now, where yet another snowstorm buries us all over again.






This is my favorite tree on campus. It looks like a clawed hand reaching for the sky.




This is the Castle of Perseverance, a little amphitheater near the Fine Arts building. Sometimes in nice weather, classes meet there, and occasionally they even put on plays. The serpent holds the Face of Life in one mouth and the Face of Death in the other.






This is "The Song" by Catherine Ferguson. I love the little brass bird on top of it. Right now, only his head peeps out of the snow.
